MyChronos Kiosk Pro — Installation
Step-by-step guide to mounting and connecting the MyChronos Kiosk Pro tablet on a wall.
The MyChronos Kiosk Pro comes with a wall-mount bracket and all the hardware needed for installation. Follow these steps to mount it correctly.
What's in the box
The box includes the tablet, a metal wall-mount bracket, screws, and wall anchors (rawl plugs).
Installation steps
Remove the two bottom screws from the tablet
Turn the tablet over and remove the two screws located at the bottom. This separates the tablet from the bracket mechanism.
Mount the metal bracket on the wall
Take the separate metal plate and hold it against the wall in the position where you want to install the kiosk. Mark and drill four holes matching the four mounting holes in the bracket.
Insert the wall anchors into the drilled holes, then secure the bracket to the wall with the provided screws.
Connect the cables before attaching the tablet
Before placing the tablet on the bracket, connect the power and network cables. There are two ways to power the Kiosk Pro:
- Power adapter — Use the adapter included in the box and plug it into a nearby socket.
- PoE (Power over Ethernet) — Connect a PoE-capable Ethernet cable. This provides both power and internet connectivity through a single cable, with no power adapter needed.
Recommendation
Use PoE whenever possible. It provides a more stable and reliable connection than Wi-Fi, and eliminates the need for a separate power cable.
Route the cables through the side openings or the hole at the back of the bracket, depending on where your wall cables come from.
Attach the tablet to the bracket
Align the tablet with the wall-mounted bracket and press it into place until it clicks and sits flush.
Secure with the two bottom screws
Reinsert the two screws at the bottom of the tablet to lock it to the bracket.
Remove the screen protector
Peel off the plastic protective film from the screen. The Kiosk Pro is now ready to use.
Connecting to Wi-Fi
If you are not using an Ethernet cable and want to connect the Kiosk Pro over Wi-Fi, follow these steps to access the network settings:
Access the network settings screen
Tap anywhere on the screen 7 times in a row. A window will appear asking for a PIN.
Enter the PIN
Contact MyChronos support to obtain the PIN. Enter it in the field shown.
Select your Wi-Fi network
A window will appear listing available Wi-Fi networks. Select your network and enter its password.
Save
Tap Save. The tablet will connect to the Wi-Fi network.
Wi-Fi vs. PoE
Wi-Fi is supported but a wired PoE connection is recommended whenever possible for greater stability and reliability.

If you need assistance during installation or setup, the device reference number is printed on a label on the top-right of the tablet. Provide this reference to MyChronos support when contacting them.
