Generate professional invoices from billable time entries. Customize templates, set payment terms, and track payment status.

Overview

MyChronos turns your billable time entries into professional invoices in one click. Access invoices at /invoices.

Creating an Invoice

Select unbilled time

Go to /invoices/new and choose the client and date range. MyChronos shows all unbilled time entries for that period.

Review line items

Each time entry becomes a line item. You can group entries by project, adjust quantities, or add custom line items.

Set payment terms

Choose due date, accepted payment methods, and late fee policy.

Send or download

Send via email directly from MyChronos, or download the PDF to send manually.

Invoice Statuses

Status reference

draftstatusoptional
Invoice is being prepared. Not visible to the client.
sentstatusoptional
Invoice has been emailed to the client.
viewedstatusoptional
Client has opened the invoice link.
paidstatusoptional
Payment received. Time entries are marked as billed.
overduestatusoptional
Past due date with no payment recorded.
cancelledstatusoptional
Invoice voided. Time entries returned to unbilled.

Each invoice includes a shareable payment link. Clients can pay directly without logging in.

Supported payment methods

Credit card, bank transfer (SEPA/ACH), and PayPal — configured in /settings/payments.
