Dashboard

The Dashboard gives managers a real-time overview of employee attendance, absence requests, and schedule change requests for the day.

Overview

The Dashboard is the home screen in MyChronos. Navigate to /panel to access it. It gives managers and administrators a real-time snapshot of the day: who is absent, pending absence requests, and any schedule change requests awaiting approval.

Widgets

Absences

The Absències widget lists every employee who has not clocked in today but is expected to, based on their assigned schedule.

The Reason column shows:

  • Unknown — No record exists in the system to explain the absence. Contact the employee directly to find out why.
  • Known reason — The system shows the registered cause (for example, vacation, sick leave, or another approved absence type), giving you immediate context without needing to follow up.

Absence Requests

The Absence Requests widget shows pending absence requests submitted by employees. You can approve or reject each request directly from this widget.

ℹ️

How employees submit absence requests

Employees submit requests from the MyChronos mobile app:

  1. Open the mobile app and go to Calendar.
  2. Tap the + button.
  3. Fill in the absence details and submit the request.

The request appears in this widget immediately after submission.

Schedule Change Requests

The Schedule Change Requests widget shows requests from employees who want a different schedule for a specific day. This widget only appears if your company has enabled the option for employees to request schedule changes. You can approve or reject each request from here.
