Time Log Report
Generate a summary of employee clockings for a selected period — view online, export to Excel or PDF, or send each employee their report by email.
/panel/timesheets-report generates a per-employee summary of clockings for a selected date range. To access it, go to the Time Log page and click Generate report in the top menu.
Filters
Use the filters at the top to define the scope of the report:
- Employees — All employees are included by default. Filter to specific people if needed.
- Date range — Required. Select the start and end dates for the report period.
- Workplace — Optionally limit the report to clockings from a specific workplace.
- Projects — Optionally filter by project (requires the Projects module).
- Legal entities — Optionally filter by legal entity if your organisation has multiple.
- Include validation date — Check this box to include the date on which each employee validated their clockings in the report. This only applies to employees who have validation enabled in their time recording policy and are actively validating their records.
Generating the report
There are four ways to produce the report:
Generate report — Displays the report on the page, showing each employee's clockings, absences, and total hours worked for the selected period.
Excel — Exports the same report in Excel format for further processing or archiving.
PDF — Exports the report as a PDF file.
Send PDF report — Sends each employee their individual summary by email as a PDF attachment. When you click Send, you will be asked whether you want to request the employee's signature on the document.
Electronic signature module required
Requesting a signature requires an active electronic signature module. Modules are activated from Modules & Integrations in the main menu, under the Integrations tab. The recommended module is Stratya Sign.
