Bulk Time Record Generation
Automatically generate time records for multiple employees over a date range, based on their assigned work schedules.
/admin/timesheet-bulk-creation automatically creates time records for selected employees based on their assigned work schedules. Use it when records have been forgotten for an extended period or when you need to backfill records for a group of employees at once.
To access this page, go to Settings → Bulk time record generation.
Existing records will be deleted
If time records already exist for any of the selected employees on the selected dates, they will be permanently deleted and replaced by the newly generated ones. Always double-check the employees and date range before clicking Generate.
How it works
The generation process creates one time record per working day for each selected employee, using the hours defined in the employee's assigned schedule for that day.
Schedules must be assigned
Employees must have a work schedule assigned for the days you want to generate records. If an employee has no schedule on a given day, no record will be created for that day.
Active contract required
Employees must also have an active contract covering the requested dates. If an employee has no valid contract for a given day, no record will be generated for that day. See Employee Contracts for details.
Using the form
- Select employees — All employees are selected by default. Uncheck any employees you want to exclude.
- Set the date range — Choose the start and end dates for the period to generate records for.
- Click Generate — MyChronos will create the records immediately.
